Dispute Settlement Centre of Victoria
The Dispute Settlement Centre of Victoria (DSCV) can offer family meetings for older people and their families who want to discuss future living arrangements.
DSCV is part of the Victorian Department of Justice and provides free, confidential mediation services throughout Victoria. Their mediators are nationally accredited and are experienced in running meetings with groups of people to produce outcomes that work. DSCV trained staff can provide information, advice and referral, including tips on dispute prevention. However, the Centre does not deal with disputes under the Family Law Act 1975 (Cth) or those involving family violence.
Contact DSCV for more information about this service.
